We only share your personal data with third parties if:

– Disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to believe you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data,
– There is a legal obligation to disclose, or
– It is legally permissible and necessary for the performance of contractual relationships with you.

4. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not damage your device, contain no viruses, trojans or other malicious software.
Cookies store information that results in connection with the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we gain direct knowledge of your identity. We use cookies to make the use of our services more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

We also use temporary cookies to improve user-friendliness, which are stored on your device for a certain fixed period. If you return to our site, it is automatically recognized that you have visited us before and what entries and settings you have made so you do not need to enter them again.

In addition, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it to optimize our offering (see section 5). These cookies allow us to recognize that you have already visited us when you return. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period. The data processed by cookies are necessary for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. Completely disabling cookies may mean that you cannot use all features of our website.

5. Analytics Tools
a) Tracking tools

The following tracking measures are used. These are used to ensure needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website, as well as statistical recording and analysis of usage for optimization purposes. These are considered legitimate interests under the applicable data protection regulation.

b) Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies used.

– Browser type/version,
– Operating system used,
– Referrer URL,
– Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address),
– Time of server request.

This information is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. It is used to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage.

This information may also be transferred to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. IP addresses are anonymized and cannot be traced back to individuals (IP masking).

You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser add-on available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

As an alternative to the browser add-on—especially for browsers on mobile devices—you can also prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected during future visits to this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website, and it will be stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will need to set the opt-out cookie again.

You can find more information about data protection in relation to Google Analytics in the Google Analytics Help Center: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

c) Google Ads Conversion Tracking

In order to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it with the aim of optimizing it for you, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. Google Ads places a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google advertisement.

These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords client’s website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the client can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each Adwords client receives a different cookie. As a result, cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Adwords clients. The information collected through the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for Adwords clients who have opted in to conversion tracking. Adwords advertisers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can refuse the setting of cookies—for example, by adjusting your browser settings to disable the automatic placement of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by configuring your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com.”

Google’s privacy policy for conversion tracking can be found here: https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html

d) Matomo

We use the open-source software Matomo for the analysis and statistical evaluation of website usage.

Cookies are used for this purpose (see section 4). The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website is transferred to our servers and compiled into pseudonymized user profiles. This information is used to evaluate website usage and to help us design our website according to user needs. The information is not shared with third parties.

Under no circumstances is the IP address associated with other data related to the user. IP addresses are anonymized, making it impossible to assign them to a specific individual (IP masking).

Your visit to this website is currently being tracked by Matomo Web Analytics. Click here (https://matomo.org/privacy-policy/) to opt out of tracking.

6. Social Media Plug-ins
We use plug-ins from the social networks LinkedIn and Xing on our website to increase awareness of our company. The promotional purpose behind this is to be regarded as a legitimate interest. Responsibility for data protection compliance lies with the respective providers of these networks.

We integrate these plug-ins using the so-called two-click method to best protect visitors to our website.

Social media plug-ins are applications that allow access to or sharing of content across different service providers.

On pages that contain such plug-ins, your browser establishes a direct connection to the server of the respective social network as soon as you click on them. By clicking the button, you consent to the respective providers processing your data in accordance with their current privacy policies. The network thereby receives information about your use of this site. If you are logged into the respective network at that time, your visit to our website and all interactions related to the social media plug-ins (e.g., clicking the “Like” button, posting a comment, etc.) may be assigned to your profile and stored by the network. Even if you do not have your own profile, it cannot be ruled out that data may be stored. We would like to point out that we, as the providers of these pages, have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by the social media platforms. To minimize data collection by these providers, we recommend logging out of your social media accounts before visiting our website.

Here you will find the privacy policies of the respective providers:

– request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data (if not collected by us), as well as the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, if applicable, meaningful information about the details involved.
– demand the immediate correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by us
– request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to comply with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims
– request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, provided that you contest the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful but you oppose its deletion, we no longer need the data but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to the processing
– receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or request that it be transferred to another controller

8. Right to Object
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation or to direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without requiring you to specify any particular situation.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, data portability, and/or restriction of processing at any time by writing to info@hilgers.es or by post to c/ Hospital 1-28, 46001 Valencia, Spain. In all cases, you must verify your identity by including a copy of your ID card, passport, or a similar identification document.

9. Data Security
We use the standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol during your visit to our website, in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is typically 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we instead use 128-bit v3 technology. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is being transmitted in encrypted form by the closed key or padlock icon displayed in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

10. Validity and Amendments to This Privacy Policy
This privacy policy is currently valid and has the status of August 2020.

It may become necessary to amend this privacy policy as a result of further development of our website and services, or due to changes in legal or regulatory requirements.
